About beeswax candles
Beeswax has the highest melting point of any wax leading to longer burn times. They do not produce any soot and drip less. Beeswax candles have also been shown to improve indoor air quality. They emit a lovely scent with a warm natural glow.
Why are beeswax candles so expensive?
Beeswax is expensive and energy intensive for bees to make. The wax is only produced by young nurse bees and takes 8 pounds of honey to secrete 1 pound of wax! This is even more incredible when you consider what it takes to make 1 pound of honey. Honey bees will visit approximately 2 million flowers and fly 50,000 miles to make 1 pound of honey!
Beeswax is a valuable resource and only limited amounts are harvested from the hives. Much like honey, only the excess is harvested.

Limited numbers are kept in stock and candles are usually made to order. Please allow a couple of days for making and dispatching candles. These candles are unscented however, the following scents are available on request only. Please message me before ordering to request one of the following scents:

We can also add a beeswax dye to the candles to make them either green or red on request.

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
Keep wick centred & trimmed to ¼” to ensure even burning & prevent flame from becoming too large. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for no more than four hours at a time. Stop using when only ¼” of wax remains. No not move candle while burning or if wax is hot.
